Europe at the Crossroads: Sovereignty or Subjugation?
Danilo Della ValleShare
Today in Brussels we have sparked a necessary debate. We have spoken about geopolitics without filters, without empty slogans, without subservience to the narratives of those who would like us to be helpless spectators in front of a history already written.
Europe is at a crossroads: either it accepts its role as a vassal within the logic of war and rearmament or it takes back its political and diplomatic sovereignty. We have chosen the second path. And we will continue to fight for a Union that is not a mere executor of other people's orders, but a protagonist in resuming dialogue with all global powers.
Thanks to the speakers who brought depth and analysis to this debate: Joao Oliveira – MEP for The Left, Greta Cristini – Geopolitical analyst, reporter and writer, Geminello Preterossi – Italian philosopher of law and politics.
A special thanks to the colleagues who came to bring their contribution: Carolina Morace, Pasquale Tridico, Mario Furore, Gaetano Pedullà and the German colleague Von der Schulenburg.
The world is changing fast. Europe cannot stand still. We will continue to be there, with clear ideas and a straight back.
