And now? Now that the Constitutional Court has written in black and white that the Citizenship Income was not a “state allowance”, but a real active policy for employment, what will those who dismantled it in the name of the fight against “slackers” say?

They took away support for those looking for work, condemned thousands of families to poverty and now the Constitutional Court confirms what we have always said: the Citizen's Income was an instrument of social justice, not a handout.
And the famous requirement of 10 years of residence in Italy? It should have been reduced to 5, according to the same ruling. But instead of correcting the critical issues, the Meloni Government preferred to cancel everything, leaving those in need without alternatives.

Their propaganda has crumbled in the face of facts. How many people have lost everything because the State has decided to turn its back on them? In the meantime, from Rome to Brussels, the priorities of politics are clear: billions for weapons, while social policies are dismantled without any scruples.
